Happy 2023! 🥳 Since we’re several weeks into the New Year, we’ve all had plenty of time to make and, let’s face it, break resolutions. But there’s one resolution that the Snigglezoo team promises to keep: generating content to help parents raise money-smart kids.

New Year, New Look: First up on our list of just-released updates is an Art of Allowance Project homepage refresh. Specifically, our nationwide credit union partners can now leverage:
- Reconceptualized headers that more closely align the design of their Art of Allowance Project sites with the aesthetic of their institutional pages
- Engaging carousel banner images that better convey the message of helping families on their money-smart journeys
For those of you curious about these changes, here’s a glimpse at the homepage of El Paso-based GECU:
Our hope is that these upgrades will offer users a more seamless transition from their credit union’s corporate site to The Art of Allowance Project’s money-smart materials. In fact, our design team implemented these changes after receiving feedback from representatives within our network of credit unions. We value their insight and always strive to incorporate their suggestions to improve our Art of Allowance Project program for current and future partners.

Fifth Time’s the Charm: Those of you who have been following along as we’ve reenvisioned our program’s offerings are probably aware of our “Good Money Habits” series, a key component of our Adolescent$ portal for tweens and teens. This series is comprised of video shorts on key financial topics, such as:
- Saving money instead of spending it 💰
- Weighing the costs of every purchase or decision ⚖️
- Setting S.M.A.R.T. goals ✅
- Not spending more than you make 💸
The series’ fifth and final video, which addresses using money as a tool, made its debut earlier this week. Simply click the GIF below to stream it:
As a reminder, if you have any suggestions for future financial content to engage the tween and teen segment, then please don’t hesitate to reach out. Who knows … you may soon be receiving a shout-out in this very newsletter!
