Worried about screen time? (“3 Ideas to Share & Save” 005)

3 Ideas to Share and Save

Hi!

In my last email, I told you about my interview with Josh Golin of the Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood. If you’re a parent grappling with screen time, concerned about commercialism or wondering what’s going on with TikTok (like me!), then you’ll want to listen to our discussion.

Josh’s episode is the first of my 3 Ideas to Share and Save this week. I’m feeling visual, so we’re going to go more graphic-heavy. Enjoy!

I like the graphic below from this article. It was interesting to see how folks have been using their stimulus checks. I’m glad to see that 20% of people were using the funds to pay down debt (including the student kind).

I mentioned this last week, but I’m so excited about it that I have to bring it up again! The Art of Allowance Academy course launches on September 2nd (for parents of kids ages 0-10). The course for parents of tweens and teens debuts a week later on September 9th.

I created this interactive course for parents who want to learn how and why they should set up allowance systems and how such programs can grow with their families.

I’d love to have you join me. You can find out more here.

I appreciate your taking the time to read my newsletter. Thanks for being a part of the money-smart journey.
